Background: A course project focusing solely on the detailing of a product. The project included studying an existing product and understanding its working, mechanism, and design. And redesigning it with an alternate mechanism enhancing the functionality of the product.

The working mechanism was studied and understood and an alternate mechanism was explored.

The alternate mechanism achieved the same function of stapling two pieces of paper together while taking a unique approach.

A magnetically actuated system was designed to achieve stapling action.
